Body Harmonics understood that it was not operating as efficiently as it could be. The business relied on many manual, paper-based processes, and its three distinct lines of business each had their own websites that required separate management. The websites were not only fragmented and visually outdated, but also not being leveraged to facilitate business processes and transactions.
Recognizing these shortcomings, Body Harmonics aimed to transform its outdated marketing communications website with a full rebrand and refreshed creative redesign, while incorporating business tools that would facilitate greater business efficiency.
The redesign required more than a fresh coat of paint. It necessitated a ground-up rethinking of the technologies supporting the content features and functions of the website. It also required the information design and content strategy to be re-architected to meet the intended vision for three related lines of business: pilates and movement studios, teacher training, and health clinics.
Body Harmonics’ new site needed best-in-industry user experience on its transactional components: scheduling and calendaring classes and programs, customer registration, accounts, billing & payment, lead generation.
It also needed to embrace digital transformation to replace outdated manual, paper-based business processes. As with any digital transformation project, this would require extensive effort to educate and train key staff.
